MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME
A little space to switch off.
Put the kettle on, unpack and make the cottage your own. There’s room to cook together, gather around a board game or curl up beside the fire after a day on the coast. Eggs and a few welcome treats help you settle in.
Comforts for your stay
Log burner and adjustable heating. A well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Free Wi-Fi, a small TV with DVD player, books and board games.
Bed linen and towels are included. Please bring beach towels. A travel cot is available on request; there’s also a high chair.
A snug place to sleep
The main bedroom has a double bed and storage. Above it, two single beds nestle beneath the eaves in the cosy crog loft.
Please check the layout: the loft has limited headroom and a steep ladder from the main bedroom. The bathroom, with shower, toilet and basin, is also reached through that bedroom. This arrangement needs to suit everyone in your group.
OUTSIDE, AT YOUR OWN PACE
Your garden. Your quiet cuppa.
Enjoy breakfast outside, a lazy afternoon on a sun lounger or supper from the barbecue. The cottage and its separate garden are private for your stay.
Holmus Cottage sits among the buildings of our quiet conservation smallholding. The garden does not overlook the lake or woodland. The gateway into the wider grounds is less than 50 metres from the cottage.
A LITTLE FURTHER TO WANDER
Woodland paths.
Water. Wildlife.
Beyond the gateway, follow paths through our shared grounds: woodland, streams, an old railway embankment and a spring-fed lake. Take a gentle wander and see what the seasons bring.
We care for the land through low-intensity conservation grazing by sheep and goats. Wooden leaky dams are installed along the watercourses to help slow the flow.

We’re near Little Newcastle, in rural Pembrokeshire. A car is useful for making the most of your stay.
Good to know before you book
Arrival: check-in from 4pm; check-out by 10am. Key-safe details are sent before arrival.
Access: a shared, slightly bumpy farm track. Please drive slowly. Private parking for up to three cars is close by, with a path to the door.
Your stay: up to four guests; no pets and no smoking. Natural paths may be muddy or uneven, with open water in the grounds.
Privacy: we leave you to enjoy your stay independently. If you need help, message us through Airbnb.
