Can we bring our pets?

  • September 17, 2016
  • by Libby

We don’t allow pets as some of our guests are allergic, it means our cottage is safe for all to enjoy. If we did allow them it would be impossible to guarantee it would be completely free of the odd stray hair, so we have taken the decision to allow just our human friends in! If you do have pets, don’t feel guilty about leaving them behind, book them into a pet hotel for their own break away, so you can come on your holidays and enjoy some time out from all the poop scooping and daily routine!

We welcome our guests from 4 pm and you will have to vacate by 10 am on the day of departure. There may be occasions we can adjust these times so do ask, but usually, these timings are set as it takes a little bit of time to make sure the cottage is in tip top shape for your stay.

We may be way out west but we have a number of shops! Closest is Letterston, which is just around the corner! Here you will find a fab butchers which stocks the essentials and a garage which has a mini shop in it too. Next closest is Fishguard- it is a small town but has lots to choose from. All under one roof is Co-Op, it’s  a small one but has pretty much everything you will need. There is also many little shops about town for fruit and veg, meat, bread, presents and more… and if you don’t want to cook pubs and cafes too. Next is Haverfordwest (20 mins) here you will find all the supermarkets – Morrisons, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, M&S and a whole lot of other shops in the town.

Little Newcastle is a little village just off the A40 near Letterston. It is a great base to explore Pembrokeshire and the surrounding areas.

To the west St. Davids is about 17 miles (40 mins) away

To the north Fishguard is approx. 8 miles (15 mins) (from there you can head up the coast and into Ceredigion which has a fab coast too!)

To the south Tenby is 30 miles (an hour) away
